CAMP BISCOTASING WILDERNESS CAMP

Camp Biscotasing is a backcountry, outdoor adventure for youth who are ready for a deeper wilderness experience with a stronger focus to advance their rowing skills.  The main purpose is to get youth (15 – 18) out of the city and experience the unique beauty of Canada’s vast wilderness.

Famous for being the home of Grey Owl, the Town of Biscotasing is located in the 3,000-acre Bisocatsing Provincial Park.
Unique and romantic, this partial ghost town is only accessible by train with a year round population of 22.  It was founded in 1882 by Canadian Pacific.

Our coaches will take campers on an adventure of a lifetime, rowing through the many arms of the lake.  There are 7 camp sites.  They will row from camp to camp experiencing beautiful vistas and canyons while taking in beautiful sights of bald eagles, moose, deer, wolves, and bears.  Campers sleep in tents and experience evening campfires, cookouts, marshmallows, storytelling and song; memories that will last them a lifetime.

Here is a map of the lake along with the camp stops made throughout the trip.
